Juanito: Obra Elemental de Educacion...

Esta obra hace referencia al rescate arqueológico que tuvo lugar en Ixtapan de la Sal en 1993, a raíz del descubrimiento de restos óseos y vasijas durante la remodelación de la Plaza de los Mártires, hecho que presentó la oportunidad de explorar un sitio de gran interés de la época del Posclásico tardío.

Hacia fines del periodo virreinal novohispano hubo un complejo conjunto de establecimientos de enseñanza elemental; tanto en ciudades, como en pueblos de indios, se instalaron y sostuvieron escuelas. A partir de ese horizonte, esta obra busca demostrar que continuidades y rupturas se sucedieron luego de un proceso de independencia.
