Cuando Josué peleaba contra los amorreos y pidió al sol que se detuviera, antiguos manuscritos dicen que lo que realmente dijo Josué al sol fue “Deja de Adorar” (Jos 10:12-13), por lo cual mientras el sol no podía cumplir su propósito fundamental, tampoco pudo continuar su movimiento (Sal 19:1, Job 38:6, Sal 113:3).
