En este trabajo misceláneo se dan a conocer los resultados de las últimas investigaciones sobre la historia y la arqueología medieval de la provincia de Huelva desde el punto de vista de la ocupación y manejo del terrirtorio, la producción metalúrgica, la explotación económica según las fuentes escritas árabes y cristianas, los sistemas de fortificación, y la significación del desarrollo urbano. Las aportaciones centran sus novedades sobre aspectos poco conocidos de nuestra historia medieval.
