Sinopsis del Libro

This volume focuses on the Spanish locative verbs "poner" and "meter". By means of logistic regression analyses, the parallels and differences in the spatial relations they denote are established. The thesis also zooms in on their linguistic behavior as auxiliaries in inchoative and causative periphrases. In addition, a historical corpus study describes the grammaticalization of the verbs, starting from the 13th century up to now.
