There are many schools of wisdom in the indigenous peoples and of millenary prestige whose study we can dedicate ourselves to, but above that, the Mayan-Tsotsil wisdom for us is our own, our own. What has prevented us from knowing these ancient traditions of ours until today? The answer is not very difficult to find, it is well known the prejudice that the "civilized" man has with respect to the original people, a prejudice that in Mexico has occurred with particular violence and blindness, and if despite this we have investigated various aspects of our original cultures, what we could not accept without difficulty is that the Totil-me'iletik possess what is called wisdom.
