Sinopsis del Libro

Este libro aborda una temática que resulta de sumo interés para quien estudie la confi guración actual del Derecho penal medioambiental en las legislaciones europeas: cómo evitar que entre en contradicción con los principios que deberían guiar la intervención punitiva del Estado. Los objetivos centrales que se plantea el libro son, por tanto, los siguientes: realizar un diagnóstico del estado actual de las infracciones penales destinadas a proteger el bien jurídico medio ambiente, analizar los problemas que plantean desde el punto de vista de los principios penales y proponer un modelo global para corregir dichas disfuncionalidades.
